Nursing and Patient Care

Registered Nurses teach the Nursing and Patient Care Pathway. Our simulation lab gives students hands-on practice  for real world healthcare scenarios.

1st Year: Want a jump start on your healthcare career? Then, this is the course for you! In this class you will learn basic healthcare skills and their application in an authentic simulation environment. You will also have the opportunity to apply physiology, epidemiology, and immunology concepts. Learn how common diseases affect people and how to care for them. 

2nd Year: Expand your knowledge and skills learned in Nursing and Patient Service 1 and 2 to complex scenarios in our simulation lab. Learn additional new skills and their application in a healthcare environment. Second semester provides the opportunity to participate in a clinical or internship experience in a healthcare facility in our community.
